About Laxmi Road
Laxmi Road has been Pune's principal shopping street since the early twentieth century, running from Alka Talkies chowk down past Tulshibaug and Appa Balwant Chowk toward Budhwar Peth. It's a street of specialists — a saree shop next to a bangle shop next to a hundred-year-old sweet stall — built up shop by shop rather than planned as one.
laxmird.in exists to make that density searchable, without flattening it into a generic mall directory. Every category here reflects an actual stretch of the road, not an abstract catalogue.
